Do you have anything on your menu for people with allergies?
Ferris Acres Creamery is NOT a nut free facility. Many of our ice cream products contain nuts, and all of our ice cream products are processed, packaged and served at this facility, where nuts are present, using equipment and machinery which has come in contact with nuts. Cross contamination is always a possibility, as we use nuts in our manufacturing room and in our serving area.
For those with a gluten sensitivity: Many of our flavors have no added gluten. For those flavors, you will see an asterisk in the top corner of the flavor on the menu page, and on our outdoor signs. Please ask us to use a new tub of your flavor, and a new scoop, if you would like us to. For milk sensitivities: Our sorbet is a non-dairy product, made with fruit purees, and we use a separate scoop to avoid any cross contamination.
We also offer vegan frozen desserts, in a variety of flavors. These are made with either pat milk, coconut milk, or coconut oil, depensing on the flavor We use a separate scoop to avoid cross contamination with milk products
For egg sensitivities: Our ice cream base does not contain eggs, but flavors with inclusions may contain egg. Also Available: Marino's Real Italian Ice - individually wrapped, in a variety of flavors

The Pasta Shop of Newtown carries the largest variety of our flavors! They are located in the center of Newtown and sell our ice cream all winter!
Villarina's Pasta Shop in New Milford carries a large variety of our ice cream. You can find our ice cream in their shop during the winter!
Cover Two Sports Cafe has created their own flavor, Sudden Death!
Roxbury Market in Roxbury, CT, carries a large selection of our top flavors, and a few of their own specialty flavors!
Tambascio's Italian Grill created their own flavor - Dark Chocolate Orange

We are finishing up with our final interviews for our spring hiring session!
Any applications that come in now will be held until our next hiring - in early July. Scooping pay rate is $16.94 per hour + Tips and includes a free pint of ice cream each shift
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, must be available at least 15 hours per week.
Can you work in the fall until we close on October 30th? Are you friendly? Outgoing? Can you work nights and weekends?
