Do you have anything on your menu for people with allergies?
Ferris Acres Creamery is NOT a nut free facility.
Many of our ice cream products contain nuts, and all of our ice cream products
are processed, packaged and served at this facility, where nuts are present, using equipment and machinery which has come in contact with nuts. Cross contamination is always a possibility, as we use nuts in our manufacturing room and in our serving area.
For those with a gluten sensitivity:
Many of our flavors have no added gluten. For those flavors, you will see an asterisk in the top corner of the flavor on the menu page, and on our outdoor signs.
For milk sensitivities:
Our sorbet is a non-dairy product, made with fruit purees, and we use a separate scoop to avoid any cross contamination.
We also offer vegan frozen desserts, in a variety of flavors. We use a separate scoop to avoid cross contamination with milk products.

Villarina's Pasta Shops in Newtown, New Milford all carry a large variety of our ice cream. You can find our ice cream in their shops during the winter!

Are you hiring?
The Creamery is accepting applications for the 2026 season.
Interviews will be scheduled for mid-April, with new employees starting at the Creamery shortly after we open for the season in May.
Scooping pay rate is $16.94 per hour in 2026
+ tips + a free pint of ice cream each shift
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, must be available at least 15 hours per week.
Can you work in the fall until we close on October 30th?
Are you friendly? Outgoing? Can you work nights and weekends?
Applicants MUST be available to work until we close for the season in late October
We are also looking for an experienced cake decorator - with a part time, flexible schedule available. If applying for a cake decorating position, please send along photos of your work!
